I bought this card to use with my sony a700.Amazon delivery as excellent as ever – arrived next morning!
I always shoot in RAW & this card can hold over 800 images at maximum quality. Since using this card I’ve never had any issues with buffer or card write time delays. For the price per Gigabyte ratio I think this card is unbeatable. A top product from a top brand at a great price – you won’t be disappointed if you buy this card.

Excellent card and terrific value from this seller. Card needed by high end DSLRs particularly the new generation that have video capability. I purchased this card for my canon 5D mark ii, it has great speed and works a charm.

The most problems users have while filming with this camera is when they try to take a picture in film mode and the memory card stops filming where as this has no such problem due to the speed it has and does not slow down the camera at all.

I have transferred files between a firewire reader and my mac with extremely stable and fast speeds.

As to the card not failing i can only say i have been using sandisk sd cards for about 5 years now and have never had any fail.

Bought this item in order to plug my Drobo to my Dell laptop via Firewire 800. And it works fine. I get speeds around 2.5x faster than with using USB2. With large files (like video files) I can write to my Drobo at speeds around 70 MBps or 560 Mbps. It’s not the 800 Mbps advertised by Firewire, but it’s a lot better than USB2 anyway.

Would definitively buy this product again if I needed one.

works fine, but I needed to connect power cable to drive via a USB port (Macbook Pro, 17″) – only tried with one drive (1TB, WD or Samsung – I forget which – have several) but speeds are good. Maybe won’t need extra power with smaller drives, but since my drive cases (PureMac-USB2/FW800/eSATA – very good also, by the way) have optional input for external power, I have not tried.

After installing, I had a problem with lines across the paper whenever I printed. I contacted the seller…and they resolved…even though it had nothing to do the photoconductor…and all to do with the user not understanding how a printer works. These people must have such patience!

The print quality is very good so I would say that the compatible unit is doing its job and at the moment is working at the same level as a original unit. I would expect to get around the 15,000-17,000 prints from the unit so anything short of that would indicate that a compatible does not last as long as an original but saying that it was £100 cheaper so if I have to buy another one to achieve the same as an original I would still make a small saving. I have been using this replacement unit for the last 3 weeks and have run about 600 pages. The print quality is very good so I would say that the compatible unit is doing its job and at the moment is working at the same level as a original unit. I would expect to get around the 15,000-17,000 prints from the unit so anything short of that would indicate that a compatible does not last as long as an original but saying that it was £100 cheaper so if I have to buy another one to achieve the same as an original I would still make a small saving. So to sum up – good value and a bargain at the moment but only time will tell if it is a real bargain.
